She is a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church and has been at St James since pre-school. She has been an usher at St. James since her early childhood.
One of her greatest accomplishments other than being a child of God is that she is a cancer survivor. Paula was diagnosed in May of 2018, with breast cancer. She underwent several weeks of chemo, followed by surgery in October and radiation in November and December. She has prevailed over all and is now cancer free. Paula spends her morning in her back yard alone and sometimes on facebook praising God just for being so good to her. She encourages the people that follow her on facebook to always give God the glory just for being who he is.
